Buy fruits & preserves from Hobart’s oldest operating orchard
Farming since 1805
The land in this area has been treasured by both the Indigenous (local Mouheneenner band) and the English settlers. This property has been farmed since the arrival of settlers in the early 1800s and has some of those early trees and plantings remaining.
The orchard and gardens are tended exclusively by our family and represent a huge amount of work. Much of the fruit is turned into jams or dehydrated by Vicki while some fresh fruit and honey is available when in season.
Keep an eye out for the sign on Risdon Road to indicate when the stall is open.
